Kristi's Bio
Kristi grew up in Plano, TX with her parents (Dennis and Carol Brant), two older brothers (Mark and Mike), and the family dog (Princess). She graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1996.
She spent a few semesters at Collin County Community College and then transferred to The University of Texas at Austin. Although she loved her years in Austin (perhaps too much), she ultimately transferred to The University of Texas at Dallas where she completed as a part time student after joining the working world. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Public Administration with a minor in Economics and Finance.
Kristi currently works as a Human Resources Manager at Texans Credit Union where she has been since August of 2000. She enjoys her work and strives to grow and develop professionally.
Kristi meet her sweetheart, Joe, in 1998 through a mutual friend. For years there were great friends. Kristi and Joe decided to take there relationship to the next level in October of 1999 when they realized their friendship had blossomed into deep love and affection for each other. They dated and lived together for many years, getting engaged in February of 2005. They sealed their love with a small ocean-side ceremony on the beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico on July 1, 2006.
Joe and Kristi dabbled in camping activities on several occassions during those years. Kristi participated in some camping adventures in her youth as a Girl Scout and with her church youth group. In Janaury of 2009, Kristi and Joe purchase their own gear and committed to camping on a regular basis. They have been going strong ever since.
Joe and Kristi currently reside in Garland, Texas where they own a quaint 3 bedroom home that they share with their dogs Bronte and Penny.
In her spare time she enjoys camping (well DUH!), cooking, reading, writing, and spending time with friends and family.
